LeBron James Coming to the Lakers

The NBA all-star, believed by many to be the greatest player of all time, a winner of four MVP awards has joined the Lakers. This all-star accepted a 154 million dollar deal for four years with the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron James, after his many years of playing in the NBA, left the Cleveland Cavaliers to join a new team that may now have a chance to win a championship.

In 2004 LeBron James started his NBA career with the Cavs. After seven seasons LeBron decided to join the Miami Heat for an additional four years, then returned to the Cavs for his last four years with them. In this time their team qualified for finals four years in a row. He won an NBA championship in 2016 against the Lakers with Kyrie Irving, beating the Golden State Warriors. Though, just last season, Irving left to join the Celtics.

The Lakers have recruited not just LeBron James but many other players that have very promising futures, in the hope of creating a new dynasty and having a chance to win the NBA championships. Kobe Bryant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, and Wilt Chamberlain were all great players who were on the Lakers. They were the best of their times and brought the Lakers to the finals, and won many championships. Many believe that LeBron James will carry on this historical tradition.

According to the Business Insider, LeBron has two houses and a production company in LA. This is also, significantly rumored by many, the last four years of his NBA career. With LeBron James coming to the Lakers it will both benefit himself and the team. This will be an excellent place for his family to settle down.
