There are thousands of hotels and suites located around the world. Many are reasonably priced, with basic amenities for people looking for a clean and simple room to stay in. However, there are also many luxury hotels for travelers looking for a hotel unique, set apart by its location, service, and conveniences. These exclusive hotels show excellence in all its aspects, big and small.

Burj Al Arab Hotel, Dubai

The Burj Al Arab Hotel, located in Dubai, stands as one of the world’s most iconic hotels in the world. It was constructed in the shape of a billowing sail on an artificial island stemming out from mainland Dubai. The Burj Al Arab is truly an amazing experience. Guests have the option to choose whether to arrive at the hotel by a fleet of chauffeur driven Rolls , or take a helicopter to see a birds-eye view of the city and land on the hotel’s landing pad on its 28th floor. They are also entitled to take advantage of the hotel’s private butler service, where the staff to suite ratio is 8:1. These butlers are available around the clock, 24/7, to attend to the needs of guests.

Fogo Island Inn, Newfoundland, Canada

The Fogo Island Inn is located on an island off the coast of Newfoundland. ‘Fogo’ is the Portuguese word for fire and the Island was likely labeled by passing sailors who noticed small fires burning on the shores. The hotel’s building design is very 21st century modern, but it’s a crossover between the and new design. It’s a stunning structure with a white exterior, floor to ceiling windows, situated on a location at the ‘edge of the earth’. The rooms are described as handmade modern. Furniture is minimalist and sleek, but also carries a traditional air to it. Rugs, quilts, and artwork are crafted by local artisans. For guests, every stay includes all meals, 24 hour room service, custom made organic fiber beds, in-floor heating, as well as access to the hotel’s contemporary art gallery, library, and sauna.

The Brando Resort, Tahiti

The Brando Resort includes 35 individual isolated villas. Each villa is designed to blend into its surroundings. They each have a private outdoor eating and white sand beach area to hang in. The villas also have their own plunge pools. The rooms are furnished with soft, comfortable chairs and sofas.

The world is filled with travelers, with them thousands of hotels to fit to the specific needs of each guest. Most hotels exist for functionality, but many, like these, also exist to have more than a basic room. They provide luxurious amenities, top-tier services, and a beautiful getaway from normal life.
