Mrs. Erskine is not just an amazing teacher, but a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Erskine lives in a household consisted of her husband, Michael, her 2 year old daughter, Katherine, and her dog, Cassie. She loves how things are constantly changing with her family. Mrs Erskine’s daughter is currently 2 years old and Mrs. Erskine loves how she is learning and growing so much.  When she’s not at Disneyland or at her house, Mrs. Erskine would be found in her classroom, either teaching algebra or/and 8th grade math. She enjoys teaching because she loves working with her students and seeing them grow. Mrs. Erskine stated, “I love working with students. Every day they amaze me. My students are smart and funny! I am always laughing with them. I enjoy working with middle school students because I love to see how much growth occurs during these years. “

During the summer, Mrs. Erskine enjoys going to the beach, hiking, and playing all day with her daughter. She loves to have slow, lazy mornings where her family is not running out the door.  Her favorite pastimes with her friends and family include: snowboarding, hiking, gardening, and reading in her free time. If not, Mrs. Erskine would preferably be eating one of

her favorite foods of all time, sushi. She would even eat sushi or a snickers bar if spiders were surrounding her. If Mrs. Erskine could travel anywhere, she would like to visit Europe. If not, she would want to go to Mammoth, no matter what season it is. Another vacation spot she would favor is the world of Harry Potter at Universal Studios because she wants to live in a place where anything is possible.

Even though Mrs Erskine does not have superhuman strength, she surely is an all time superhero; a superhuman in the classroom and a superhuman at home. If she could be any animal in the world, she would be an elephant because they are strong, loyal, smart, determined, and powerful and  Mrs. Erskine is definitely an elephant. (in a good way) Overall, Mrs. Erskine is a teacher that every should want. If you see her in the hallways, make sure to give her a nice smile, as it will be returned.
