Donald Trump Claims He Could Have Prevented 9/11

Maybe you weren’t alive to witness it, or maybe you were, but many people can say 9/11 was one of the worst terrorist attacks on the United States of America. Controlled by several hijackers, two planes crashed the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. A third plane was supposed to land on the Capitol Building, but was instead crashed into a peaceful farm by the brave passengers who decided to take control of the plane. All casualties consisted of 2,977 people.

However, according to the ever so attractive (cough, cough) billionaire-turned-presidential-candidate Donald Trump, says if he were president, 9/11 would never have happened. Yes, he really did say that. Because he is so tough on immigration, Trump said that the terrorists in charge of that horrific event would never have been allowed in the country in the first place.

Later, Trump went on to criticize George Bush, who was president during the attack. “Blame him or don’t blame him, but (Bush) was president. The World Trade Center came down during his reign,” he stated. This initiated backlash from Jeb Bush, the former president’s brother.  The backlash escalated into an all out Twitter war, with tweets being fired at one another.

Maybe Donald Trump will be a great asset to this country if he is elected, maybe he won’t. But do you really think he could have prevented 9/11?
