Our prediction for the NBA Finals: The Golden State Warriors will beat out the Cavaliers in game 5 . Kraemer Middle School student Kian R agreed with our prediction saying, “The Warriors have been one of the most improved teams and also have one of the best coaches. Not to mention the Splash Brothers.” The Warriors, having Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, can light up at any moment both scoring up to 20 points a game. They work as a team to create one of the best one two combos in the NBA. This quote sums up Stephen’s play style. After being asked how his team will stop Stephen Curry, Lebron James said, “The same way you slow me down….. you can’t.” Now for the big guys, Draymond Green and Andrew Bogut. Andrew Bogut averages almost 2 blocks per per game and 8 rebounds. Draymond Green also averages 11 rebounds per game and 1.5 blocks per game.

Although we understand Lebron and the Cavaliers are a great team, we are still sticking with the Warriors. Lebron leads his team in all stats except for blocks. He averages about 27 points, 10 rebounds, and 8.3 assists. He even averages almost 2 steals per game! The Cavaliers other star, Kyrie Irving, is also very explosive and can finish almost anywhere on the court, But he isn’t as full strength because of his injury. He got injured in Game 1 of the Finals and is ruled out for the rest of the series.  Their big men, Timofey Mozgov and Kevin Love, are a great help on the boards and rejecting shots. Timofey averages 2 blocks and 7 rebounds per game and kevin averages 7 rebounds and 1 block!

The Finals are here! Who do you think will bring home the title?
