Minions Everywhere!

Minions Everywhere!

The trailer for the new movie “Minions” was released Tuesday, November 4 and shown on the popular show The Voice.  The movie is a prequel to the movies Despicable Me 1 and 2, and is set to be released on July 10, 2015.  Actor Steve Carell will voice Gru, Sandra Bullock will voice the villain in the movie, Scarlet Overkill, and Jon Hamm will voice Scarlet’s husband Herb Overkill.  When asked about the upcoming film, Kraemer student Blase M. said, “I didn’t know that movie was coming out… I think it will be a good movie and I’m definitely planning on seeing it”.

The movie stars minions Kevin, Bob, and Stuart, embark on a journey to save minionkind.  The minions have been around for much longer than us humans.  The minions have one goal in life: to serve the most despicable master in the world.  Finding masters is easy: keeping them is another issue.  The minions always seem to mess things up with their masters.  Because of this, the minions move to Antarctica and live in isolation and depression.  If this went on any longer, the minions surely would have gone extinct.  But three ambitious minions, Kevin, Bob, and Stuart, choose to leave Antarctica and find a new master.  The three minions trek over oceans, deserts, forests, and mountains to reach New York in 1968, 42 B.G. (before Gru).

The new movie “Minions” is sure to be a big box-office hit when it comes out on July 10.  The question is, will the movie make or break the Despicable Me saga?
