The Hunger Games is Beginning its End

You guessed it. Everyone has been dying to see the newest movie of the Hunger Games trilogy that will be coming out on November 21, 2014 by Lionsgate. Your favorite stars of the Hunger Games will blow your mind in this upcoming movie, Mockingjay Part 1.

If you don’t want to read any spoilers or haven’t finished the movies or books, then I would suggest you not read the rest. According to the plot of Mockingjay Part 1 states, “Katniss Everdeen is in District 13 after she shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta and a nation moved by her courage.” In case you didn’t already know about this, Jennifer Lawrence portrays the character of the girl on fire, Katniss Everdeen, from the series of books. Jennifer has fun filming with her co-stars on the set with such stars as Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, and many others. She’s read all of the Hunger Games series but she cried when she read the Mockingjay Part 1 script and called it “Heartbreaking” ( The cast and crew started shooting the film on September 23, 2013 in Atlanta, Georgia and continued to Berlin, Germany. They filmed the Part 1 & Part 2 of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay back to back.

I asked a student by the name of E.J., at Kraemer Middle School, about Mockingjay Part 1 and  says, “I am excited that they split it into 2 parts, it makes the movies that more intense. I hope that the movie will have ALL the content from the Mockingjay book and the stroy is complete.” Director Francis Lawrence made the movie into an unimaginable world of creativity. District 13 is this underground world where refugees of all Districts come to have shelter, but Francis made it into something more than just a shelter. The set is beyond your fantasy, and all the fans of this paradox will have to wait until the movie to come out.
