Crowley, played by David Tennant, is one of the main characters of Good Omens.

Good Omens is a great show, although only available on Amazon Prime Video. The show has six episodes, each building up lots of suspense and great character development. Every episode is around 50-60 minutes long. The series is about an angel and a demon who try to save the world.

In episode one, the main characters are introduced: Crowley, a demon who can turn into a snake, and Aziraphale, an angel. The beginning of the episode takes place in the Garden of Eden. After Adam and Eve get kicked out for eating an apple from the forbidden tree, Crowley and Aziraphale meet. Then, it goes back to the present. Crowley arrives at a church in his black car and gets instructed by another demon to deliver something that was in a medium-sized basket. The mysterious thing in the basket is actually a baby. Not a normal one though. Inside the basket was the antichrist, the son of Satan himself. The episode then switches scenes to Aziraphale point of view. All of a sudden, Gabriel, another angel, appears.  He tells Aziraphale that the antichrist has been delivered, and then disappears. Meanwhile, there are actually two couples rushing their way over to the so-called “hospital,” instead of the expected one. The ambassador’s wife, Harriet Dowling, and the Youngs, Deidre and Arthur. Then the viewer meets the nuns, who are going over the plan of switching the American ambassador’s son with the antichrist. The nuns received an odd surprise when both arrived at the hospital, as they were only expecting Harriet. They have a mix-up between the babies that they weren’t even aware of. The antichrist ends up being the Youngs’ son, named Adam. The Dowlings’ child, who’s actually the Youngs’, was named Warlock. Then, Crowley and Aziraphale meet at St. James’ Park, which has been their meeting spot for as long as they can remember.

Crowley asks Aziraphale to help him try to stop the end of the world, which Aziraphale refuses. Crowley works hard to convince Aziraphale to help him.Aziraphale finally says yes, and they make a plan. Crowley becomes Warlock’s nanny, and Aziraphale becomes his gardener. Crowley tries to be a bad influence, while Aziraphale tries to be a good one. They thought that maybe this way, it would balance out. At Warlock’s 11th birthday party, there was supposed to be a Hell Hound there. The Hell Hound was a gigantic black dog that was able to turn into any type of dog the antichrist wished. If the antichrist named it, it would lead to the beginning of the end of the world. Crowley and Aziraphale wait and wait, but no Hell Hound shows up. That’s because it was going to it’s real master, Adam. Adam and friends were hanging out in forest. The Hell Hound disguises itself as a small dog. Since Adam had really wanted a dog, he named it and kept it. Meanwhile, Crowley and Aziraphale realize they have been tracking the wrong boy, and the episode ends.

All in all, Good Omens is an exciting and well-made show that everyone should see. Although a bit violent, it shows nothing graphic and is relatively a thrilling experience to watch.
