Lazarbeam gets a Fortnite Skin Based Off of Himself

Lazarbeam is an Australian content creator that posts random videos on the internet. His videos can range from watching short clips sent by his fans, to him just playing a video game. He plays a bunch of different games, but one he plays a lot is Fortnite.

Fortnite has a story mode and a Battle Royale mode. Lazarbeam likes to play the battle royale mode, where a storm closes in around the island that damages players, and gets smaller and damages more the longer a match goes on. The winner is the last player standing. People can also group up to win as a team. In this game, you can customize your character by purchasing a battle pass, where you earn more items the more you level up, purchasing characters from the store that rotates its items daily, or by purchasing the Fortnite Crew, a monthly subscription that gives you a character, back bling which is placed on your character’s back, a pickaxe that is used to hit other players with, or break structures for materials, and a weapon wrap that changes the appearance of the weapons your character uses.

Fortnite also has a series where they ask well known content creators if they want a set (a set in Fortnite is a group of items that are all related to each other) of a skin, back bling, emote, and pickaxe that the content creator gets to design. The creators that have gotten a set in order when this article is being written are Ninja, Loserfruit, Lachlan, TheGrefg, and Lazarbeam. There are other people that are also in the Icon Series, like Marshmello, but they are not content creators. Like most other icon series content creators, Lazarbeam and Fresh, a friend of Lazarbeam, got their own game mode where people could win the set earlier than anybody else and for free. The thing was that a very limited number of people got the skins early. According to epicgames.com, the official Epic Games website, “In Lazar & Fresh’s Super Knockback, many of the weapons at your disposal are more powerful versions of knockback weapons. You’ll find Lazar’s Flight-Knock, a custom version of the Flint-Knock Pistol, from Supply Drops. And if you’ve taken damage, you can Emote to heal. Fall damage is vaulted.” Lazarbeam’s set and the other icon series skins were removed from the Item Shop when downtime was over for Chapter 2, Season 6.

In conclusion, Lazarbeam got himself inside of Fortnite Battle Royale, one of the biggest games in the world with a lot more coming later. The sources used in this article are epicgames.com.
