Nitendo’s Reveals

Let’s get one thing straight: I am a NERD. I was that kid in 3rd grade that at recess sat eating grass on the soccer field thinking If I get home at exactly 3:17, then I can do my Math by 3:55, then watch 1.3 episodes [43 minutes] of Pokemon before finishing the rest of my homework, and playing “How to Get Friends if you’re Lonely” Simulator until I shower and go to bed.” But that was a long-term investment, seeing as now, the Nerds are the cool kids because the more you can flex, the better. But now, I have to write an article on a 50 minute Nintendo Direct. 1st Person Intro Over, let’s get started [DISCLAIMER: Most Dates will be excluded for the purpose of word limit!]!

The Nintendo Direct is a 50- minute presentation that reveals all of Nintendo’s up-and-coming stuff over the next few years. This is followed by Pokemon Week, but that is an entirely different toxicity pool to dive into. Obviously, some things outshine others, so the small stuff will be briefer. Many individual games from the past are getting released on the Nintendo Switch, those being Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, Outer Wilds, Legend of Mana, Tales of the Borderlands, Stubbs the Zombie In Rebel Without a Pulse, Miitopia, SaGa Frontier Remastered, Plants Vs. Zombies, Hades, and Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. There are also games in multiples coming, such as two in the Famicom Detective Club series, the 23 game Capcom: Ultimate Stadium, and three games in the Ninja Gaiden series.

Would YOU like to pay $24.99 to play something that will die in three days? Then you’ve come to the right place: Smash Ultimate DLC [Downloadable Content]. The next characters coming to Nintendo’s biggest trans-franchise fighting game is introducing two new characters, Pyra and Mythra, from Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Pyra seems like a heavy character that has slow yet powerful strikes with fire-infused attacks, while Mythra has quick, light-infused attacks that make her get off combos easier. But Animal Crossing: New Horizons is bringing a free Mario DLC, with new customization on your island and even warp pipes that let you travel anywhere on your island. All of this will be available via. Nook Shopping. Finally, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is releasing a three-part DLC similar to the one for Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild

6 NEW titles are making their first appearance on the Switch, some seeming better than others. Games such as The Gogetters Club, Knockout City, and DC Superhero Girls: Teen Power seem like just regular busts, but the rest seem at least interesting. Star Wars: Hunters is a Star Wars-themed 3rd person shooter, with not much information given. Neon White seems like another Shooter Game with Multiplayer and Story capabilities, where you are a demon hunter in Heaven. Finally, the working title Project “Triangle Strategy” is a tile-based strategy game where your choices affect the story in terms of plot and what characters join your side.

Finally, multiple games are getting sequels, Including the big reveal that everyone is hyped about (but that’s for later). Samurai Warriors 5 is the next installment of the fast-paced Samurai Warriors series. Monster Hunter: Rise is the next in the Monster Hunter series, and Ghosts n’ Goblins: resurrection is the sequel to the, you guessed it, Ghosts N’ Goblins series. 3rd Person No More Heroes III and RPG focused Bravely Default II are respective continuations of their franchises. But now, we have the big boi, the one forsaken game that everybody wanted, that has been leaked for years, that has been wanted since its last installment, we have…MARIO GOLF: SPEED RUSH!!! In this game, we have a golf game where other players can include PvP elements to the already adrenaline-fueling adventure of golf; with multi- wait, was there a different big reveal? I passed out after the golf announcement because I was so hyped. Wait, my producers are telling me about… SPLATOON 3! That’s right, the next Splatoon game focuses on the deserted future theme of Splatoon to hype Nintendo fans, once again. But we can all agree that golf is far, far more than hype.

That’s all from me folks, make sure to watch Pokemon Direct [which I may or may not have watched by the writing of this article], and stay safe!
