The movie starts with young Diana (Wonder Women) competing against full-grown women in a competition. Although there is an age gap, Diana has no problem. She would have won if she didn’t get so cocky or lose her focus. The story is set in 1984, and Diana works at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C, while she is doing secret superhero stuff as Wonder Women. Wonder Women and Barbara Minerva find an item at the museum called the Dreamstone. The Latin inscription said it could grant the person who holds it a wish. Diana wishes for her deceased lover Steve Trevor. Barbara Minerva wished to be like Wonder Woman, which gave her powers. Barbara didn’t think she would get powers, but she thought she would be more like Diana.

Later in the movie, a businessman who isn’t doing well, named Max Lord, gets his hands on the Dreamstone. When Max obtained the Dreamstone, he wished to become the stone, which allowed him to grant wishes to all. When Max became the stone, he wished for wealth. With the money Max now had, he went on TV and started granting wishes to all. When he began granting wishes, there was chaos. People were wishing for death and war. When Wonder Women was alarmed by what was happening, she flew there as soon as possible. But, she had to fight her friend Barbara who transformed into a cheetah monster. Barbara was fast, but Wonder Woman was smarter and electrocuted her. Wonder Woman then confronted Max with her lasso. Wonder Woman convinces the world to renounce their wishes. Later, Max also realizes he needs to find his son. He also renounced his wish and reunited with his son Alistar.

Overall, the movie taught a good lesson to all and had a great plot. Wonder Woman 1984 is a great movie, and it is strongly recommended to watch.
