Is President Trump Wise to Blow Off Dr. Fauchi’s COVID-19 Medical Advice?

Coronavirus has put a strain on many people and things, including President Donald Trump. Although President Trump is trying to downplay the pandemic, on the inside, he knows that we can’t get rid of COVID so quickly. These are some reasons Donald Trump is wrong to blow off Dr. Fauci’s COVID-19 medical advice.

President Trump seems to be feeding the public more and more false information, even when his highly trained medical exerts tell him otherwise. Dr. Anthony S. Fauchi, who has been the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984, has a firm opinion on this matter. At one of Trump’s recent rallies, he said that there’s going to be a vaccine soon. He had also said the same thing at one of his previous rallies. The rally dates were very far apart, and that raised some suspicions.

These are two central lies President Donald Trump has told. On the 7th and 9th of February, the claim Trump made is that Coronavirus would weaken when the warmer weather in April came around. When the president made this claim, it was too early to tell if the virus would slow in warmer temperatures. Health experts were very uncertain about the comment. They were correct because spring and summer have now passed, and the pandemic is still here and going strong. Then, on the 27th of February, Donald Trump stated that the outbreak would only be temporary and eventually fade away. The truth is that “Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, warned days later that he was concerned that as the next week or two or three go by, we’re going to see a lot more community-related cases.” He was right-the virus has not disappeared.”

When President Trump announced that he and First Lady Melania Trump had been diagnosed with Coronavirus, Dr. Fauci wasn’t surprised at all. According to CNN, “Dr. Anthony Fauci said he is “absolutely not” surprised President Donald Trump contracted COVID-19 after seeing him surrounded by people not wearing face masks and flouting best public health practices.”

President Trump wasn’t taking covid seriously before he had the virus, and he still isn’t. He thinks that now that he’s had COVID, he is now immune. Although there have been people that have contracted the virus more than once, nothing can seem to shake his beliefs. These are some of the primary reasons why President Donald Trump is not wise to disregard Dr. Anthony S. Fauci’s COVID- 19 medical advice.
