Star wars episode nine is literally the best star wars movie!

Oh Yea! It’s time, a new Star Wars movie came out, and boy is it good! Star Wars episode nine, Rise of Skywalker, is the latest in this beloved film franchise. Although Force Awakens received mediocre sores, it ultimately was the revival of these epic space adventures. Rogue One released a year after, and it was pretty well received. Then the critics struck back when The Last Jedi hit theaters, and many cinema-goers gave that movie a big thumbs down on its plot and supposed political agenda. The same happened to Solo, but mostly people were boycotting the film about the greatest smuggler in the galaxy, fearing the film would be far too similar in its message to The Last Jedi.

Then the holy grail to Star Wars fans. The pure resurrection and ‘awakening’ of this franchise happened on December 20th when The Rise of Skywalker was released. A film about adventure, heroes versus villains, story drama that keeps you on the edge of your feet, biting your nails, and is filled with suspense! Oh, and epic space battles… They’re good too. The film’s plot centers around the character Rey, because of her struggle/character’s full story arch completion.

The film stars are as followed Daisy Ridley as Rey, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, and Adam Driver as Kylo Ren plus many others. The film’s budget was approximately $275 million, and it racked up about $945.9 million in the box office. The film was released on the 20th of December 2019. This last installment of the Skywalker Saga scored a 54% on rotten tomatoes and a 6.9 out of 10 on IMDb.

The film’s plot centers around Rey and her character’s conflict arc, and it’s full compilation. Since Force Awakens, Rey has been on a quest to find her parents and find out who she actually is. In this movie, Rey finds out she is the granddaughter of Emperor Palpatine, who was thought to be dead after the sixth movie. Palatine wanted his son to bring his wife and Granddaughter to him, but he refused wanting Rey to live a life without evil. So they didn’t bring her, and Palpatine ordered the death of his son and his son’s wife for defiance. This, of course, explains where Rey’s immense power comes from, she’s the granddaughter of the most powerful villain in Star Wars. Overall this film was amazing and is of the highest recommendation.
